"He who began a good work will complete it, and don't grow weary in doing what is right, for in due season we will reap!"
The CFG Athlete of the month for March is small but she is mighty. Teresa is a flawless example of hard work, encouragement, and all around strength- I mean, did you see her kill 17.1! When searching for an Athlete of the Month, we search for someone who exhibits effort, community, heart, and a life of balance. It isn’t necessarily how much weight they can lift or the way their body looks, it really is about displaying a level of passion and dedication. One thing we love about Teresa is the fact that she never gives up and gives her 100% every single day! She has put in countless days of dedication and her “no-quit” attitude is infectious. Thank you Teresa for your awesome spirit in the gym and being an awesome role model for our gym and your family. We are lucky to have athletes like you in our community!

1. How were you first introduced to CrossFit?
Crossfit was introduced to me by my husband, Spencer. He made me start the women's class this past summer!
2. What is your favorite exercise/lift and what is your biggest foe?
I'm still learning all about CrossFit so I don't have a favorite lift-they are all difficult for me. The one that I have the most difficulty with is the dreaded squat!
3. What is your proudest CrossFit Accomplishment?
My proudest moment is completing 17.1 and actually doing well!
It also makes me very happy to see others set and meet their goals!
4. What goals have you set for yourself 6 months-1 year out?
My goals are to continue workouts each week, get stronger so that as God continues to bless us with grandchildren I can keep up with them.
5. What do you love most about the CFG Family?
The thing I like most about Crossfit Gastonia is the Team spirit and the genuine concern of the coaches and athletes for others to improve. I've received great encouragement from many members!
6. When you aren't at the box training, what can we find you doing?
When I'm not doing Crossfit you can find me cooking Whole30 for Spence and Rebekah, enjoying my grand daughter Addison or watching Netflix.
